ABOUT BEAUVERIA BASSIANA : Beauveria Bassiana is a bio insecticide containing white muscardine fungus which is widely used for control of thrips, whiteflies, aphids, caterpillars, grasshoppers, ant, beetles.
TARGET PESTS : Beauveria Bassiana used to control pests like caterpillars, mealy bugs, termites, grubs, white flies, jassids, thrips, aphids, beetles, mites, Leaf folder, Stem borer, Fruit borer.
RECOMMENDED CROPS : Suitable for all which growns in High humid places with low temperature range. Field Crops : wheat, corn, peanuts, soybeans, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, sugarcane, coffee, tea. Vegtable Crops : potatoes, leeks, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, chilly, brinjal, cucumbers, etc., Fruit Trees : Apples, pears, apricots, plums, cherries, pomegranates, mangoes, litchi, guava, jujube.
MODE OF ACTION : Beauveria bassiana when get in contact with the host; it infect the host insects, the fungus grows fast inside of the insect’s body. Feeding on the nutrients present in the host’s body and form a large number of mycelium and spores inside the body of insects and also producing toxins continuously, which disturb the metabolism of the pests and eventually lead to death.
APPLICATION METHODS : FOLIAR SPRAYING : 1. Mix 10 g of Beauveria Bassiana powder in 1 litres of water. 2. Mix thoroughly untill the lumps are broken. 3. Now spray over the plants including underside of the plant leaves. SOIL APPLICATION : 1. Mix 100 g of Beauveria bassiana powder in 10-15 kg of farm yard manure or field soil. 2. Apply evenly over the field soil to control soil worms or grubs.
